Hand-painted dog and cat bowls worthy of your best friend! Hand-thrown ceramic is painted in vibrant geometric and cultural patterns by true Mexican artisans. Each bowl is high-fired with a durable protective glaze.

Each bowl is thrown and molded from raw "Lead-Free" clay then prepped to be properly cured using a two-bake ceramic firing process. Both bakes are done in a high-fire kiln at 1200-1500 degrees F* to ensure a dense and durable ceramic bowl, the 2nd bake is done at the same high temperature. Before the 2nd bake, the artwork is hand-painted with great detail as well the glaze is tediously applied to all areas of each bowl. This glossy glaze protects the ceramic and the hand-painted Talavera artwork(allowing it to be both water and intense heatproof). The finish also draws out all of the colors and provides a true lifelong shine.
