• Walk the Delivery Path: Measure doorways, hallways, stairways, and areas where there may be a tight fit to ensure your appliance will fit.
• Measure Your Space: First, the height from the floor to the bottom of any overhead cabinets/countertop, then the depth, leaving additional space to open the machine door, and finally, the width. Don’t forget to leave space for breathing room on each side and in the back.
• Check Dryer Fuel Type: Check if your dryer requires gas or electricity. For electric dryers, ensure that the appropriate 240V is available within the range of the appliance.
• Check Outlets/Water Lines: Make sure you have an electrical outlet within reach of the appliance’s power cord and a water shut-off valve located on the same floor, within 4 feet of where you’ll install the appliance.
