This platform bed, designed and produced in Portugal, is a rock-solid mid-century style bed with tapered legs that will be a favorite part of your bedroom for many years.
Features
- Extremely sturdy panel platform bed with solid MDF tapered legs. The side panels are made using 2.5 cm thick sustainably sourced MDF panels and the headboard is made using honeycomb hollowcore construction, which is lighter than solid wood but more resistant to bending and warping.
- Ships with a European mattress support system, which is a set of 2 inch wood slats inserted inside a steel frame, eliminating the need for a box spring. Mattress not included.
- The walnut finish is made using a natural walnut veneer sourced from North America. The white finish is made using a non-toxic low-VOC paint applied in our factory.
- This bed can support up to 900 pounds due to the two steel cross supports with center support legs.
- The headboard is finished on both sides meaning this bed can be placed in the middle of a room or loft.
