This catio is a game changer!! My daughter’s cat is obsessed with it! Love this! Debated about the purchase for a while, but finally went for it, and my cats are in love. Its sturdy and assembly instructions are straight forward. Plenty of room for both of my large cats (about 12-14 lbs each). I added some finer screening around it to keep bugs out (just stapled it to the frame) and created a wood frame that fits inside my window so it can be secured without attaching it to the exterior of my house. My two kitties love their new space! We have two 9 months old kitties that we rescued when they were 3 12 weeks old. They are indoor cats but we wanted to give them a safe sanctuary when are not home. I put the structure together myself and it probably would have gone quicker if I had help but I took my time and the instructions were easy enough to follow. The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. Good size for our 2 cats. Wood is very lightweight but it does sturdy up when attached to the house. I did paint all wood parts with our house color and painted the wire black to make it more see through. Added a door handle/knob too. It’s cuter and blends in much better with these touches. Hoping it will also extend the life of the catio given our weather extremes. It’s attached to our garage and the cats seem to like it.
