Earth PLA

The Earth PLA is made with diatomaceous earth which comes from from diatoms, a type of algae, that have accumulated on the seafloor and formed into rocks over the centuries. The shade of the clock’s three-dimensional shape changes every moment in natural light, allowing you to feel the passage of time. The design maximizes the material’s characteristic features and atmosphere. Using the very traditional plastering technique in Japan this timepiece provides an unique aesthetic for both a modern and classic space with its specially made texture. Designed by Yuichi Nara.
