Soil stays warmer in the early Spring and Fall, and cooler in the Summer. Boards are 44.5 inches long, creating a 48-inch span, (once stacking or anchor brackets are attached) and 5.5 inches high. Boards are 2 inches thick providing even more insulation than our 1-inch thick boards. When creating your own designs, keep in mind you may need some specialized accessories. When creating straight runs of boards that don’t connect in a loop, you may want to purchase 2” finishing sleeves to create a professional finish. If your design requires 3 or 4 boards to intersect, you will want to purchase our 2” tool-free 4-way bracing bracket.
