Very poor illumination. They are also plastic and the spikes are not very sturdy and are short. I had these next to some outdoor solar spotlight I got at a local store and they were about 1/4 the brightness.

The light was quick and easy to set up and seems to put out a decent amount of light. I used it in the bed next to my sidewalk to illuminate the house number on the wall above it.

They are easy to get into the ground and line up a walkway. They are solar powered which is great and they are adjustable so you can move the light up or down however you want it. They are very bright when they sit in the sun all day but not so much when there is no sun.
