Mantilla Table Lamp

Features

• Each body is thrown, carved, decorated, and glazed by hand, a multi-step ceramic process that machine production cannot reproduce.
• The lamps are made in Thailand by skilled women artisans, so the work behind the object is as real as the object itself.
• A globe-shaped ceramic body carries sculptural weight, holding a table on its own even when the lamp is switched off.
• Hand-applied glazing moves across the round surface, adding depth and a sense of motion you only catch up close.
• A linen taper shade narrows toward the top, diffusing the bulb evenly and keeping the eye on the ceramic.
