The Macchiato Jar reads like something found in a Tuscan farmhouse rather than bought new. Terracotta is drip-glazed from above, one layer over another, and the glaze runs down the body in overlapping trails, each one stopping where it thins out. The tall, narrow profile makes it useful on a kitchen counter where surface space is tight, or as the height in a grouping on a dining sideboard. Since it holds water, an arrangement can go straight in. The old-world shape settles in against plain cabinetry and open shelving.
