Just got it, so I cant comment on longevity. It was easy to put together.

Bronze finished has a pinkish sheen to it and looks very cheap. I did not even put the lamp together. I will be returning it.

A nicely finished and decently built product. However, the post seams are visible, in part, because the hue of the metal finish is just slightly inconsistent from section to section. Not a big deal but it is noticeable upon inspection. The big disappointment is the cheap shade which is a plastic backed fabric(?) that rolls onto the internal steel hoops. Clever and functional, yes, but less than elegant to be sure. Still, a nice product for a reasonable price (although if return shipping was not so expensive I would probably return the item).

Great lamp! It has the lines I was looking for and pretty easy to assemble. It compliments my living room.

Probably user error but had some trouble with the treading on the pole and the TINY little screw for the arm. It is a nice, solid lamp, that looks like it did in the picture...

We love it. It looks elegant especially in the office room.

Placed this behind my couch in a corner and it looks great. Works beautifully for soft overhead lighting when reading, etc. Very easy to put together.
