Update the replacement parts arrived earlier than expected and I didn’t have any problem putting it together after that. I especially like that there’s a little pocket on the hammock. I accidentally submitted this review too early. The chair arrived about a week ago, but parts of the stand were dented and can’t fit together. I am waiting for replacement parts which were ordered, but not shipped yet. I will update my review when I can put the chair together.. Megan. White Rock, NM. Sun Aug 16 2026

Navy blue and white create the illusion of soothing frothy waves in the design of this cotton hammock. The design is by Maya Artists of the Yucatan, who use traditional weaving techniques with experienced skill. Long before the Spanish arrived upon the coasts of the Yucatan Peninsula, the Maya preferred to sleep and rest in hammocks. They considered the hammock to be like the loving embrace of a mother, due to the comfortable manner in which the body is held and swung within its cradle. Maya Artists of the Yucatan seek to preserve time-honored customs while also offering stylized versions of the original Maya hammock. For them, the hammock is a work of art. Their hammocks are incredibly comfortable, easy to maintain, and may be stored just about anywhere. Please note: For best results, store indoors when not in use. Colors may bleed when wet. Note: Because each is woven individually by hand, measurements may vary by as much as ten centimeters. There may be slight color variations from hammock to hammock.

Following the tradition of the Caribbean Hammocks brand, we select only the finest raw materials and skilled craftsmanship in the construction of this hammock stand. We take the time to expertly dry, bend, and glue the wood, then it is sanded to a fine finish and hand-oiled for protection against the elements. We select Siberian Larch for the construction of this stand, a wood that is revered for its natural resistance to the elements and beautiful grained, knotted appearance. It comes complete with zinc-plated chains, hooks, and all necessary hardware to hang just about any hammock that is under thirteen feet in length.
