You can adjust the flame level from an ambient trickle to a full roaring flame. We rarely need it over 50%. There is a glass windscreen that you can use or not, depending on the wind. The extension table portion is perfect for holding foods and other items, but folds away nicely when not needed. The starter is a bit wonky, but it lights every time with a handheld torch.
