It took us several hours to finish putting it together mostly because we don't often construct things. The first pieces were difficult because we had to be on our knees to screw it together, after that all was well. Small tools included. When you get to the part where you attach an inner ring to the outer legs, we used the large box it came in to hold it in place by placing it under the metal pieces- which balanced it and held it in place while you screw in place.. I absolutely love this piece. I put it all together in leass than 15 minutes. It was really easy since there are just about 16 pieces. It is very sturdy and looks great in my study. I have limited photos to upload here but the assembly is what I will focus on as it looks identical to the picture. Definitely worth the purchase!! Year later, SO UPDATE the nuts and bolts just fell out. I mean they are just decorative so nobody sits on them. It looks nice but just wanted to update u on that. The legs just fell off each chair.
