The table is solid, pretty well made, no problems putting it together. We bought it because of the scissor legs, which make for more leg room on the sides, also can seat 8 at least with the leaf , six wo as you see it in photo. Ends are a little closer to legs but better to have two people max dealing with legs than four. I did sand the top with 220 and 400 grit, then rubbed in some teak oil. The corners and edges were fairly “sharp”., and the top not as smooth as I like. But fine now. For the price I guess it is too much to expect but didn’t take me 45 minutes, I am sure the factory could do it in a couple of minutes if that.. Anonymous. Fri Aug 28 2026

Great for our pool house! It’s a solid, sturdy table. It’s very rustic and rough, so I’m still not quite sure how to clean the top after we eat as crumbs get stuck in the wood grooves. We ordered two wood benches for the sides, but don’t yet have them. The table has a strong wood smell and, as others have mentioned, spots on the top where knots were cut out and little pieces of wood were inserted, so I don’t like that and took one star off. Otherwise, it’s a nice table.. Malory. Andover, KS. Mon Jul 27 2026
