Open Box Rectangle Shaped Shade Sails

ColourTree super ring shade sails are the most durable shade sails on the market; they are made of 260 GSM permeable HDPE (high-density polyethylene) fabric with cable wires built into edges and integrated into our patented steel mounting corners.

Made very well!! Made a shade for the horses since it was going to be 105 all week. Material is thick and the cable running through it is nice because you don’t have to worry about the material ripping like a normal shade cloth. Hardware is nice and heavy. Anonymous. Tue Aug 04 2026

I needed some shade for the car with the heat this year. I have purchased shade sails from WAYFAIR in past years. The awning arrived intact and we are in the process of completing this project: painting posts with tops and using dacron line with clips we can remove it for tropical storms/hurricanes. The color and fabric match what I have for other awning/shade sails. Thank-you.. Karen. Avon Park, FL. Tue Jun 30 2026

This shade sail was exactly what we were looking for. It helps reduce the afternoon heat, looks beautiful overhead, and gives our patio a more inviting feel. The material feels sturdy, and it has held up well since we installed it.. Gracie. Pasco, WA. Tue Jul 21 2026

this is our fourth Sun Shade Sail and we love them! All three are still as new as the day we bought them so we added a fourth and I just now ordered a fifth. All different sizes. They look great, block the sun and just add decorating to the outside!. Barbara. Litchfield, IL. Wed Jul 08 2026

Would have been excellent had I measured correctly. I chose the 16x18 and need a 16x20 or 16x22. The harder you pull the corner cables in a diagonal direction, the more the sail cinches along the edges like a drawstring and the more the sail sags in the center. For the sail to be fully taut when hanging, it either needs to be within a foot or so to the post you’re securing it to or the line of pull needs to be perfectly aligned with the edges of the sail. I did leave it hanging like a curtain for a couple days when I realized there was no way I was going to get to hang properly. It absolutely does its job at shading and cooling an area significantly. Highly recommend. Just make sure to accurately measure and to not forget that measuring horizontally along the ground will underestimate the actual distance between the two attachment points if one is significantly higher than the other.. This shade sail is perfect for lowering the temperature in the pool. The water was 94° and not conducive to swimming. The day the shade sail was installed, the water temperature dropped to a refreshing 84° with the same high temperature in the high 90s.The pool can now be enjoyed all day. With UV indexes high every day here in Georgia (could not get the address listed to change) a portion of the pool is shaded all day. With the noted change in water temperature, another shade sail was ordered to block the sun from patio doors facing SW. That will be added soon and a review forthcoming.. Barbara. Pine Bluff, AR. It is ok should have a few grommets more to hook it up for this size. I may keep for a while and then replace it.. Ursula. Stamford, CT. Sun Jul 12 2026

I purchased this 24' by 24' shade sail to replace a 24' by 18' shade sail. My Japanese Maple was only partially shaded in the afternoon. The sun is just too hot for too long and is damaging the delicate leaves of the Japanese Maple. This larger sail will protect it much better.. Timothy. Mcalester, OK. Fri Oct 09 2026

The shade is great for an area that you dont want to install a permanent shade structure. We installed it over our parking area for our tractor. Attached it to two posts and used our existing awning to not have to install more than two posts.. Jeanette. Las Vegas, NV. Sun Oct 04 2026

Just arrived. I haven’t installed it yet but I ordered cream color to match my umbrella and this “cream” color is very much pale yellow. Not impressed so far. The sail itself is textured as well. I was expecting a smooth sail not a waffle texture.. Jolynn. Elgin, IL. Wed May 27 2026
