A true tradition, it takes on a wall-mounted design with an envelope-inspired box and two hooks (available to purchase separately) for holding paper. Heavy, well constructed and added a nice touch to our sage colored siding. The lid is quite heavy and may not be for everyone especially if you have large wnvelopes to send or receive as they may get crushed. There are hooks under the mailbox however that can work as a substitute. Barbara. Rochester, NY. Mon May 04 2026

Exactly as expected. Strong, high quality mailbox that arrived quickly. Installation: Easy to attach to a mounting plate using the holes on the bottom of the exterior sides. It’s petty heavy, so be sure to attach to a strong post - I got the Gibraltar Landover post (which is actually hollow) and slid it over a 4x4 sunk 17” into the ground which is 30” above ground (so the 4x4 is a total of 47”). It looks great and was definitely worth the money to upgrade from the low-quality, dented mailbox that the prior owners had chosen. I got custom decals elsewhere to finish the look.. Marion.
