It has a mail notification flag to notify if there is a mail-in as well. The body of the mailbox has an overhang, which provides protection from rain and vandalism.

Have not installed yet. I need to purchase a new post because my old doesn’t fit the new box. Looking for a post that’s compatible is so confusing. 2020 Pandemic update: I installed the box and added wood to the bottom of the box and nailed it to the old post.
