This colorful hammock holds the promise of a deep and relaxing siesta. Woven on a traditional loom, this modern version replicates those created by the Maya people centuries ago. From the Maya Artists of Yucatan, this hammock is embellished with a plethora of rich and vibrant colors.

Yucatan hammocks are the best, in many ways, but especially for back pain. But this one seems to have been woven by two different people with two different tensions. Not as good as others, hope I can stretch out the middle with use, so it isn't trying to push me to the side, being tighter so higher up no matter how much of my weight I put on it.. Reidy,. Victoria, BC. Sat Jul 18 2026

Squirrels had chewed up our Pauly's Island hammock. This is a close match to it and looks great. It is a good value for the price. I am very happy with it.. Anonymous. IN. Mon Aug 10 2020

Navy blue and white create the illusion of soothing frothy waves in the design of this cotton hammock. The design is by Maya Artists of the Yucatan, who use traditional weaving techniques with experienced skill. Long before the Spanish arrived upon the coasts of the Yucatan Peninsula, the Maya preferred to sleep and rest in hammocks. They considered the hammock to be like the loving embrace of a mother, due to the comfortable manner in which the body is held and swung within its cradle. Maya Artists of the Yucatan seek to preserve time-honored customs while also offering stylized versions of the original Maya hammock. For them, the hammock is a work of art. Their hammocks are incredibly comfortable, easy to maintain, and may be stored just about anywhere. Please note: For best results, store indoors when not in use. Colors may bleed when wet. Note: Because each is woven individually by hand, measurements may vary by as much as ten centimeters. There may be slight color variations from hammock to hammock.
