Heavy, well constructed and added a nice touch to our sage colored siding. The Locking Post Mounted mailbox is a classic mailbox collection designed to offer an elegant and secure means to hold your mail. Quality craftsmanship goes into each piece for added strength and durability for years of enjoyment. With its classic pony express design, Its lightweight construction is durable to withstand all four seasons. The mailbox features a solid brass mail flap with an opening of up to 1.875" depending on the mail volume. Each mailbox comes with four keys. Please note: Letters, numbers, and mounting hardware (Anchor Bolt) are not provided. Please have expert assembly and mounting.

Great mailbox at a fair price! Very solid and better than the cheap ones on another major website. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the post is connected to the base with just 2 screws (front and back position or 12 & 6 o'clock position). This leaves the post able to move slightly side to side, meaning you can rock it sideways just a little bit. If the company reading this wants to improve the design then I would say add 2 more screws at the 3 & 9 o'clock position so it doesn't move at all. A simple solution for us installing the current mailbox is to add shims on either sides to stop the movement. Otherwise I love this mailbox!. Anonymous. Wed Oct 20 2021

The craftsmanship of the deeply embossed designs shows your love of nature and gives a charming appearance suitable for either a country or suburban home. The stainless-steel spring hinge and strong magnetic door latch will keep the door secure while the rustproof cast aluminum, powder-coated body construction creates a weather-resistant mailbox. Great, sturdy mailbox. Looks fantastic. We now have by far the nicest mailbox on the street. It is pretty heavy (about 25lbs I believe) so make sure your post can handle it. Not a fan of the wood block for mounting. It will eventually rot. Would have liked to see a pvc product or similar. At some point this summer I’ll have to replace it so that I never have to worry about it in the future. Overall very happy. (Pictured with Eggers 5ft H in-ground decorative post). Andrew.
