The Mikasa French Countryside flatware set is a quaint design, versatile enough to coordinate with multiple decorating styles. It has a highly polished finish which I plan to hand wash and dry most of the time, although Im sure it would hold up well in the dishwasher. The weight and balance is good, but I find it slightly more cumbersome to use than another set I have. In my pictures I show another older European sized set that is slightly larger, and a vintage set that I consider human sized, along with the Mikasa set in the center. I would prefer to buy American made these are made in Vietnam. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, and Wayfair has competitive prices and fast shipping.. Ritzby. USA. Mon Sep 14 2026

Sleek, purposeful, and clean. This flatware set is based on early American Shaker designs that emphasize the refinement of utility. A classic beaded border culminates in a flourishing crown detail at the tip of this brightly polished Oneida pattern. Sheraton flatware is the perfect partner to upscale dinnerware designs.

I chose this silverware set for our wedding over 43 years ago and it still looks great, but pieces have disappeared. I was so happy to find it and the shiny new stuff doesn’t stand out. The old stuff held up so well that no one would ever notice the difference. It’s a great quality set and I chose it because of how it feels in the hand when using it. Solid, sturdy and easy to grip. And still looks great!. Anonymous. Sun Jun 28 2026

Curved lines distinguish this versatile pattern, and a leaf design adds a decorative touch to the end of the handles. The perfect pick for any occasion.

These visually match our original Melon Bud pieces from 20 years ago with two differences. The first and more important difference is that original sets were 188, and these are 1810. The second and barely discernible difference is while the length of the knife is the same, it has a very slightly different curvature. No one would ever be able to notice these differences on your table (it’s tough to see even with two knives in hand looking for the difference) and the pieces still feel nice in hand, which was the original appeal. Even side by side the knives are not too different. In the photos, the originals are on the left, the replacements on the right.. Katherine. Canal Winchester, OH. Tue May 19 2020

The Couzon company was founded in 1934 by Mr. Jean Couzon. After having started producing stainless steel flatware and holloware in 1946, the company quickly developed into one of France's undisputed market leaders. The trading brand 'Jean Couzon Orfevre', adopted in 1971, was soon recognized on the market thanks to clever advertising - and, obviously, fine product quality. In the late seventies and early eighties, the company worked hard to be at the leading edge of progress, not only technologically but in areas such as sales, advertising and creation as well. The efforts paid off; in 1986 Couzon had over 700 employees and its products were sold with great success.
