Navy blue and white create the illusion of soothing frothy waves in the design of this cotton hammock. The design is by Maya Artists of the Yucatan, who use traditional weaving techniques with experienced skill. Long before the Spanish arrived upon the coasts of the Yucatan Peninsula, the Maya preferred to sleep and rest in hammocks. They considered the hammock to be like the loving embrace of a mother, due to the comfortable manner in which the body is held and swung within its cradle. Maya Artists of the Yucatan seek to preserve time-honored customs while also offering stylized versions of the original Maya hammock. For them, the hammock is a work of art. Their hammocks are incredibly comfortable, easy to maintain, and may be stored just about anywhere. Please note: For best results, store indoors when not in use. Colors may bleed when wet. Note: Because each is woven individually by hand, measurements may vary by as much as ten centimeters. There may be slight color variations from hammock to hammock.

These chair hammocks are tightly woven with high-quality cotton thread resulting in a heavy, durable fabric. They are in vibrant colors that are appealing to all ages. Ideal for both large and smaller outdoor settings to create a personal sanctuary.

I like the chair. I like the fringe detail around the edges. The color isn’t quite as vibrant as I expected but it’s close. I wish it would have come with hardware, though. I already had a hammock stand and hardware left over from my last chair, but this one didn’t fit. The loops are super thick. I rigged it how I could, but it hangs really low and it doesn’t look very nice. I’m nervous about buying a new S ring for it because I think I’ll need a giant one, and it might make the chair hang even lower.. Brenda. Battle Ground, WA. Mon May 18 2026

This chair is an absolute must for a backyard. It has plenty of room to sit comfortably and the neck pillow is just perfect for me to rest on. Every single time I'm in it I want to go to sleep. I did have a problem with one of them. The bottom part would not connect to the upper and the chair was useless. I was supposed to get a replacement part but it never came. I had to call and was told the company canceled my order but I was never notified. So a whole new chair was going to ship out to me but once again it was sold out. I needed 2 chairs so I ended ordering the gray one causing me now to no longer having match chairs. Even with the small incident I still give it a 5 stars due to it being such a comfortable chair.
