This a great awning at this price point, even my electrician son was impressed as he he was expecting troubles. To be fair, it is not easy to install. It took three adult men on ladders to put it up and a great deal of finagling before that. Also, the motor came preassembled so we had no choice about which side it was on which meant extension cords.. Karla. Stafford Springs, CT. Sat Jun 27 2026

I recently had siding put on my home. My contractor sort of refused to put my old awnings back on the house - rightfully so - would have been awful! So, I started searching for suitable choices. Many were negated because they wouldn't have mounted to the siding correctly. Then I found this (and a larger one for my front door but got that one elsewhere as Wayfair didn't have that size) and realized that a mounting kit could be purchased for vinyl siding! Hooray! It's gorgeous - so minimalistic and really matches the house. It hasn't rained yet so I don't know how well it will shield but at least it looks pretty. My contractor said it was fairly easy for him and his helper to install. I recommend this - so far!. Kristen. West Warwick, RI. Tue Mar 11 2025

The awning arrived in time. It was quite a job attaching it to my old brick house but it looks good now. 5 minutes after we got it up, the rain started! That was why I wanted an awning, so it was an excellent test. Behold, the porch floor below it was perfectly dry. Thanks, Christine. Christine. Toronto, ON. Fri Aug 07 2026

This is a semi-cassette awning. Semi-cassette designs have existed for many years in Europe and they are new to the North American market. This is a new type of custom-built awnings, assembled just for you in North America from high-quality materials. Based on a square bar structure like the traditional awnings, the hood cover is integrated into the design and protects the top and back of the fabric when the awning is closed. Semi-Cassettes are a great product if your awning is not protected by eaves or overhangs. The housing keeps rain, snow, ice, dead leaves, and debris away from the roller and structure of the awning without the need for additional protection. All our awnings are made of cast and extruded high-quality aluminum with a powder-coated finish, and feature die-coated acrylic fabrics available in 24 beautiful modern-looking patterns. This product is featured in a Soft White frame and is also available in Onyx Black.
