Great product we purchased the 12x20 said you will need 6 people for 14 hours, I did it in 16 hours by myself the only part I needed a quick hand with was putting up the 4 posts once I had those up I was off to the races directions were very clear few confusing parts but nothing that wasn't fixable, its sturdy and well built all screws lined up with pre tapped holes and it looks great at the campground, 3 hours after completing it we got a thunderstorm with heavy winds, we stayed dry under there, I was 100% leary of it coming from wayfair but I am impressed with it anyone complaining about it should just hire someone to build it because no issues seeing i did 98% of the building of it myself.. Attractive and so-far sturdy. Only issue I have is with the assembly instructions specifically regarding the curtains and bug screens. They guide us not clear regarding proper placement of them. I am certain they are not installed properly but there is only so many times that I will put up and take down the panels before I surrender. The illustrations do not jive with the instructions. It is beautiful, but hard to build, a lot of screws, which take an Alan wrench, all that could have been avoided with the use of buttons that click into place, but the worst part is the Curtains, the directions do not tell you how to put the curtains up, it took four times, with trial and error to figure out how to hang the curtains, if you buy one, you will know what I mean. But when it is built, it is so pretty, and cool inside, the neighbors have stopped speaking. That is when you know you have done good Just a tip, the heavy drapes go on the big bar with the tie strings in the outside, so you can tie the onto the poles with the seam Aligning with each pole The mosquito netting hangs on those smaller curtain rods, which angle out the wrong way to someone that doesn’t know what’s going on, I can zip them and place them on the small skinny curtain rods, making sure that the ties are facing toward the pole that ties them to the pole, And unzip them as you go, that’s pretty much it. I love my new gazebo!! It is beautiful and very elegant. It seems a little complicated to put together but it’s really not all you need is a little patience and the instructions. The manual says 4-5 people needed but in our case 2 seniors (hubby I) did it all by ourselves. Because of bad weather it took us 2 afternoons to assemble but it can be done in one. When we finished, we had a strong storm pass by with high winds and lots of rain and it didn’t even move. It covers perfectly our patio furniture and protects it from direct sunlight. At first I was super upset when I got my packages. They were not handled as written on the box and had several puncture marks on them. I realize this isn’t a fault of Wayfair but they should be aware of the condition of packaging. All of my packages were delivered standing upright instead of flat. Despite a piece of wood being bent and the roof tin having a few dents it still went to together just fine. I did it myself, female. It took me 3 total days. Half a day to organize things and almost 2 12 to build it. No regrets at all. Just pay CLOSE attention to directions as you go so you don’t have to go back and fix anything. I'll start with delivery. Gazebo arrived in 2 boxes, one box 2 days after I ordered and the other a day later. It was very well packaged, none of the pieces were bend or missing. 5-stars on that. Considering this is a huge gazebo with a price tag of just $1.1K I was a little worried about the quality. Was pleasantly surprised. It is solid and really looks like it will be able to withstand the test of time. Now about putting it all together. BTW, I am software engineer, not somebody who works at construction. On the first day I did all except the roof. I did it mostly by myself with a symbolic help of my 7-year old daughter. All of the holes lined up just fine and I did that in probably 4 hours or so. I read the comments how much of a hard time some of the others had with the roof, but since my first day was so easy, I was thinking maybe it was exaggeration. There are 20 different size panels that make up the roof. With the help of my 12-year old son, we just did 3 of them in about 3.5 hours. They just didn't want to slide into their places. The following day I tried again, and you basically need to figure out how to slide them in. Carefully, bit by bit, making sure they are lining up correctly. I wish I made a video, because there isn't much available on youtube and video that the supplier provided the link to, just doesn't have enough explanation. This patio gazebo is a polycarbonate roof gazebo, which can block sunlight rain, and snow very well. The wooden columns and reinforced base as well as the triangular reinforcing poles of the columns will make the gazebo more stable and not easy to shake, and you won't have to worry about damage for a long time to come. Meanwhile, the double roof gazebo also ensures good ventilation and the spacious 12' x 14' space can also accommodate 5-7 people comfortably in the gazebo at the same time.

I managed to put this together by myself. Took two days but I really wasn’t in a hurry. Is decent if you don’t want the heavier metal top but something a bit sturdier than the cloth ones. No written instructions, only pictures. If you can find an assembly video I recommend taking a look at that. Instructions suggest gloves and I believe a mallet hammer. Absolutely use gloves, the rooftop left me with some decent cuts on my hands. If you’re ok with using your hand to “hammer” that works, but you definitely need to do that with the roof. It might seem like it won’t fit but that’s what the mallet hammer is for. Overall I like it but you do get what you pay for. Update After a snow and ice storm in December 2025 the roof caved in. My husband put the frame together by himself in a few hours. Took some time to put up the curtains and netting because of the number of hooks. Our only concern was that the plastic hooks might not last. We will swap them out for metal ones.. Althea.
