I found the directions to be sufficient and was able to assemble the pergola properly, in a reasonable amount of time. Allow most of a day to do it. We love our 15x13 louvered pergola. Looks really nice and expensive and feels solid. It took an experienced crew of 2 about 3 hours to install but I know ot would've taken me and a friend at least 6-8 hours as it'll take longer to read the instructions and plan the steps etc. whereas the experienced pergola installers went right into it. The louvers work well and are the best thing abiut this compared to our previous gazebo. You can bring in as much light as you want while controlling direct sunlight, but make sure you decide which way they should open (by rotating the whole pergola) as that dictate if you can control direct sunlight. The lights are solar with 1 smallish panel but they lasted more than 4 hours on the couple of occasions we used them, and likely would've lasted longer if we needed then. This gazebo is excellent. Assembly took time but as long as you follow all steps everything goes well .My wife and I had to get a couple people to hold things so I could put on the roof trusses.The louvers work great.I even bought a smaller matching gazebo for the bbq area. Don’t forget the step with the glue or it will leak and is a hassle to fix. All good now no leaks at all. Hanging the curtains was a bit of a learning curve to get in the right order. But once you do it’s pretty easy. One zipper started to rip already but we were able to stich it up no problem. Overall this is a great gazebo.
