I'm going to go ahead and review even though we are not to the point in our new home build where we are ready to install the mailbox. We did unpack to make sure we have all the parts. We might be missing a "plate" to attach the actual box to the post. One set of instructions said we should have it and the other instruction didn't show it...weird. The holes, however, do match up with the box and post so I'm hoping with this style maybe the missing plate is nothing we need. Each piece seems very sturdy, and it is such an elegant look to it. I can't wait to install. It was pretty pricey, and that was what took me so long to finally purchase. UPDATE: after 3 years, I still love it, BUT a truck clipped it less than a year installed and broke the decorative scroll part off. Unfortunately it’s not made of material that can be welded back on so we had someone make a similar scroll with iron. AND after a couple years the paint completely bubbled and peeled off! See pics for reference. The numbers didn’t last through the first year— All but 1 fell off during the winter and then that summer became discolored. They are currently stuck on with gorilla tape.. Gina. Walton, KY. Thu Sep 03 2026

Love our new mailbox! Looks great and is big and sturdy. I’m glad it won’t rust and that it has numbers on both sides. Was easy for my husband to assemble. Just need 4 by 4 wood posts on which to mount the box and pole.. Anonymous. Mon May 11 2026

I love this mailbox. My first inclination was to have Handy install but decided to tackle it myself. I went on Etsy and ordered the classically styled numbers which I hope hold up over time (Etsy seller Hildahomedecor solid brass numbers) My handyman came over today and used liquid glue to lock in the finial so that it can’t be twisted off and disappear (I hadn’t even thought to do that) Project is complete except for getting the old post out!. America’s finest lighting company mailboxes are built to last a lifetime with our solid brass construction. Easy to mount, a bumper inside the lid for quiet closing, and a lifetime warranty. Our mailboxes are handcrafted and made in America, here in Orange, CA. It takes 2-3 weeks for our mailboxes to be manufactured as they are built to order and customized for you. You can customize your mailbox with multiple finishes and art glass options. The glass panels are hand-paddled and as unique as a thumbprint. Our Old Penny finish is recommended for coastal locations as it will naturally age over time. The architectural Bronze finish is oil rubbed and creates a beautifully smooth rich look. Textured Black is a powder coat finish with a slight texture. New Verde is our hand-applied patina finish that simulates naturally aged copper, and Warm Brass is also a hand-applied patina finish simulating naturally aged brass. Our mailboxes can also be combined with our coordinating light fixtures.
