This shipped fast in a large narrow box rolled up. It came with chains but no hooks. Its shorter and more narrow than i expected. More of a single person hammock in my opinion. The cover and pillow are great. It came with a tie on bag too for phones and books. I’m happy with it overall as the cover is removable and the rope is a traditional hammock look.. Gina. My family LOVES this hammock. It is very strong and durable. The colors on the striped hammock are very cute and cheery. My only caution would be to pay close attention to the measurements. It is extremely long and may not even fit most rooms, unless it’s diagonal. I’m probably going to have to put it outside if I can’t rearrange some furniture to make it fit. But it is extremely comfortable and so cute. I’m glad I purchased it.. Chryssy. LA. Thu Jul 01 2021

This hammock holds the promise of a well-deserved rest with its palette of cool and refreshing blue hues. From Maya artists of the Yucatan, this ample cotton hammock is woven by hand according to age-old techniques. Long before the Spanish arrived upon the coasts of the Yucatan Peninsula, the Maya preferred to sleep and rest in hammocks. They considered the hammock to be like the loving embrace of a mother, due to the comfortable manner in which the body is held and swung within its cradle. Maya artists of the Yucatan seek to preserve time-honored customs while also offering stylized versions of the original Maya hammock. For them, the hammock is a work of art. Their hammocks are incredibly comfortable, easy to maintain, and may be stored just about anywhere. For best results, store indoors when not in use. Colors may bleed when wet. Because each is woven individually by hand, measurements may vary by as much as ten centimeters. There may be slight color variations from hammock to hammock.
