We purchased this 16x12 gazebo for our deck. Three boxes came one day and the last one the next day. No parts were missing, but there were some bolts that were mislabeled. We managed to figure out what they were. The only complaint we have is not with the product itself, but with the pricing. We purchased it during Victoria Day weekend, when it was their "Big" sale, so we figured we would get a good deal. We purchased it for $1999.99. A week later the price was $1699.99. We did contact them for a price adjustment, which they did honor after numerous phone calls and chats. Two weeks later it was even cheaper (Can't quite remember the price, but it was significant) They refused to refund us any further. They should have a 30-day price guarantee, so this doesn't happen. It did take a few days to put together and looks good so far, we purchased the extra warranty just in case.. Mr. B. Nb Canada. Thu May 28 2026

We really love it! Especially the style of the roof. It took 2 people 4 hours to build. The instructions were pretty good in deciphering. There are not concrete screws included but does include anchoring spikes for grass. We also noticed when it rained the area under the roof still gets really wet. Highly recommend if you have furniture getting covers for it.. Amanda. Clarksville, TN. Sat May 20 2023

I could not be happier with my three gazebos from Purple Leaf! Each unit came together very well, and they look spectacular! The quality and fit and finish is excellent! These gazebos have a lot of parts, and are a lot of work to put together If you are not familiar with tools or determination, then I strongly suggest you hire professional installers My largest: 24’x14’ - tool myself and 2 other well versed guys an entire day to errect (not including shades and screens) All gazebos will be best raised with 3 people; and ones larger than 20’ will be best with 4 Good things take time - and these were well worth the effort The slide rail systems are excellent - just make sure you install the shades first (outside rail), and be very aware of which section specifically goes where (for units not equally square) Assembly instructions were 90% great A few more photos and some additional direction (shades shiny UV side out, anchor and general connect tips and details about rain drainage) would be helpful The low voltage lights look great and are easily trimmed to fit The double roof expels unwanted warm air very well The overall structure feels very solid and secure We have received MANY compliments already; and I have shared the Purple Leaf link to a handful of friends, and will continue to do so Purple Leaf also makes great looking, oversized chaise lounge chairs - that I just might have to add as well Thank you Purple Leaf, for helping to make my backyard oasis a reality! We read the reviews for this gazebo and purchased it despite the naysayers. We got a local quote to assemble it for $3,600. No thanks, we Just finished assembling the gazebo itself. It took a total of 20.5 hours over 5 days, including unboxing, parts inventory, staging and assembly. 16 hours with two people and 4.5 hours with 3 people. overall quality and engineering is pretty good. Only a couple of screw holes required modification (wall anchors). Instructions are not great, but usable if you read them several times and take your time. If you want to DIY this gazebo, make sure you have a couple of good step ladders, a decent cordless drill and 2 or 3 6-foot folding tables for laying out parts and to work on. If you try and assemble this kit with the tools provided, it will take you at least twice as long, maybe longer. Plan on working no more than 4 hours a day...it is tedious and tiring. Also, cooler weather and overcast days are better. We are a 65-year-old couple in decent health. If we can do this, anyone can with proper preparation, tools and patience.... Anonymous. So far so good, haven’t completed the assembly yet. All of the parts arrived in good condition, only a couple small scratches on the pillars. Otherwise the aluminum seems very sturdy and thick. It took 2 guys about 4 hours to get the gazebo frame assembled as first picture shows. NOTE it doesn’t include screen material for the upper second roof tier. Will have to figure out a solution for that.. Anonymous. Madison, WI. Sat Jun 06 2026

Grab your friends because you will need the help! Its heavy and awkward putting the top on. Also will need a ladder. Took about 4 hours because the directions were confusing. Definitely could use improvement on those! It seems like its going to be sturdy and great protection from the elements so I cant wait for summer! We bolted it down to concrete so it doesnt fly away in our wind tunnel we live in. I got different color panels to match my stuff. Soon as the weather breaks Ill be setting it all up!
