I purchased this griddle insert for my Weber Spirit II grill over a year ago. I was a little intimidated by the seasoning process, so it sat in my shed for over a year! A couple weeks ago, I finally worked up the courage to take it out of the box. I watched several videos on how to properly season the griddle and I used the Weber seasoning. It was super easy and I was mad at myself for waiting so long! I am now obsessed with this griddle! I’ve cooked so many things on it and they all have come out great! I searched for a long time to find the perfect tool for removing our traditional Thanksgiving BBQ turkey from the grill. This tool, in concert with a normal Weber spatula, easily handled transfer of a 20lb bird from grill to platter. Its construction is beefy. The blade is huge and provides broad and stable support !!!
