The only issue I had was with the instructions—they could be a little clearer about which way the mat goes, especially for someone who’s never put a trampoline together before. Good trampoline overall and pretty easy to put together. It took my husband and 16-year-old nephew about an hour and a half, minus the threading of the safety pad onto the base. I helped a little as well, but it’s actually hard to have more helpers with only one set of tools. Not everything lined up perfectly, so my husband had to use a mallet to bent some of the poles into place to connect to the base. That and the unclear directions makes it a 3.54-star experience rather than a 5-star one. But it’s sturdy, and the kid loves it.
