The packaging was good. The instructions for assembly were not clearly laid out and now with the benefit of hindsight, I can tell that it is missing a couple of instructions while also not sequencing properly the ones mentioned. I would strongly recommend to read thoroughly and plan ahead to avoid rework especially in the final stretch of assembly. Also, a power drill is a must coz the screwdriver does not do a good job. No surprises here- I knew it wouldn’t be as solid as my old one but didn’t need it to be. I checked the dimensions carefully so I knew what I was getting. The open ends of the benches make it much easier for (an older) person to get in and out but someone a bit broad in the beam might find the seat uncomfortably small. This table is industrial grade!! It has already overwintered once or twice (forgot when I bought it) here in the cold Northeast and not even a pin-sized dent. It is also majorly heavy so it can withstand all manner of bad weather.
