I had been looking for a new grill for a while and decided to go with a Monument grill after reading a lot of positive reviews. Shipping was quick, and assembly was surprisingly easy thanks to the clear, well written instructions. The grill feels sturdy and well made, and the overall quality exceeded my expectations. One of my favorite features is the glass viewing window in the lid. It lets me check on my food without constantly opening the grill and losing heat. I also appreciate the built in propane tank shelf. So many grills Ive owned just had the tank sitting on the ground, so this is a nice touch. Another small detail I liked was that it even came with a battery for the igniter, which made setup that much easier. Just what I have been looking for. Like the option was there for 2, 3 or 4 burners. Wanted a simple smaller 2 burner to go on my deck next to my flat griddle unit. Wasn't to bad to put together. Worse part was the 6 tiny screws you had to put in the stainless tray assembly. Would of been so much easier to have flipped the grill body over & done that step first. Like the flip down side trays. Made my tight space possible to use this unit there. Only strange part was 2 brackets you manually bracket onto one of the trays to hold spice basket etc. Also had what I believe is a knife holder & roll towel holder. Was no where in directions or parts list. Was in a pic online though. Cooked steak on the unit today after letting it burn new smell off for half hour. Clean up was pretty simple. Real glad to have gotten this grill.. Cheryl. New York. Mon Sep 07 2026
