We got two sets in white on clearance sale for an unbelievable price for the set. I have assembled a lot of HDPE outdoor furniture and this is by far the easiest I’ve assembled and I’m 150lb, 5’2, 62 year old female. The table and chairs are heavy and will work perfectly for our dock on the bay that gets a lot of wind. Subject: Issues with Assembly Quality – Order # 3607414352 Re: order # 3607414352 To whom it may concern, I’m reaching out regarding my purchase of the 8‑person outdoor pub set with seat cushions and the large center lazy Susan. It is the 10 piece high outdoor pub set that cost me in total, $2,649.99. There was a delivery delay because it was delivered mid-June, and it was supposed to arrive sometime between May 4th – 8th . Once it finally arrived, I had to hire someone to assemble it. The assembly that was agreed on with the hired hand was originally supposed to cost us $200, but ended up costing $500.00, due to significant manufacturing defects. Many of the pre‑drilled holes did not line up with the components they were intended for, and the assembler had to drill new holes in multiple areas just to complete the job. The table alone took over three hours because of these issues, and the chairs required additional corrective work as well. The lazy Susan for the center of the table is discolored in spots, I have attached 3 pictures to this email of the lazy Susan. The set is now assembled and looks great, but the amount of extra labor required was far beyond what should be expected for a brand‑new product at this price point. These defects clearly originated from the manufacturing process, not from assembly error. I wanted to bring this to your attention because the product did not meet reasonable quality standards, and the additional cost and difficulty were unexpected and unnecessary. I would appreciate your review of this matter and any consideration you can offer regarding the inconvenience and extra expense we endured caused by the manufacturing defects. We really love the set. It's very comfortable, very well built. I do highly recommend you make sure you have an afternoon to assemble the whole set, it took me the better part of 3 1/2 hours to complete. I also seriously suggest a 10mm ratchet for assembly. The little wrench they give you is pretty worthless. Also, the instructions say when you assemble a seat to do the entire top first then attack it to the base, however I found making the base and then attaching the bottom of the seat to that, then attaching the arms and back to be easier.
