Overall— I’m happy with the quality of the “plastic wood” material the table is made of—it’s satisfyingly heavy and I believe it will last a long time. The color is great (a very dark gray). However, I’m disappointed with the condition of the table. I bought two tables that arrived separately packaged and they both demonstrated manufacturing defects and damage from poor packaging. Both tables had numerous scratches and scuffs— and one table had a bracket installed upside down by the factory so that attaching a leg is impossible without drilling new holes in the metal frame. I have an open issue with Wayfair to resolve these issues with the manufacturer.. Kenneth. Hamilton, VA. Tue Sep 22 2026

Excited that our table arrived! The delivery guys assembled it, placed it and took the boxes away! It matches or chairs well. So much better than the glass table/metal frame that we had. The polywood is cooler than glass/metal, needs no special care and hoping it doesn't warp or fade as described. Nice design. It looks a bit like the tressel table in our dining room! Nice shade of grey!. Pam. CA. Thu Jun 18 2026

I reviewed numerous patio sets looking for one where there was no possible issue with rust and the seating capacity was more than 250 lbs, ideally over 300 lbs. I wanted a rattan look but did not want anything with woven bands that would eventually break or crack. We just updated our deck with the Alderman collection as it meets all of those criteria. Assembly is straight forward - it can be done alone but a 2nd set of hands speeds things along - especially on the loveseat and sofa. You do need to be able to read diagrams as there is no wording. Helpful tip - since the sofa is out of stock - I ordered two loveseats and assembled those into a sofa and a chair. The pieces are sturdy - they are dark brown resin that looks like woven rattan - even has gaps like you would find in a real wicker piece. The set is lightweight but substantial. The cushions are true to online color; they are also firm and keep their shape. I placed shelf liner under them to keep them from sliding. We love the modern look and are looking forward to years of enjoyment. Just wish the set included an ottoman. Found a similar style in another collection - on its way to our deck. We recommend this set as it has given us a great outdoor space to enjoy. The rug is also a WF purchase.. Thrifty-shopper. Ohio. Sat Jul 27 2019
