A roomy tent, a 4-person pop-up tent, suitable for camping outdoors/beach with family and friends.

This is a cute tent! Tents I've had in the past were a major pain to put together and this one literally popped into place in under a minute! I opened it in my yard to check it out. It doesn't lie flat but bows at each end. There are tabs where you can stake it down, which is great, but it doen'st come with any stakes, so we will need to buy those sepreately. I love that it opens on both sides and has 2 windows with roll up flaps. There are two pockets on the interior and it came with a bag of what I'm guessing are extra pieces and two other pieces of fabric that I'm guessing might be rain flaps? There are no instructions on anything except for how to fold it back up. We tried unsuccessfully to do that. We have tried several times to fold it back up and got it pretty frustrated, so I'm really hoping we can figure out how to get it back in the back for storage. It is on the thin side, so I'm hoping it will last! Saying it sleeps 4 is a bit of a stretch. 4 smaller people in sleeping bags only might work, but my husband and I plan on using a queen air mattress in this tent and I think we will get a second one for our 2 teens! Having the screened in area helped with the bugs, and the bigger tent was so nice to let everyone spread out. It was relatively easy and quick to set up, and we all stayed perfectly dry (though, I can't speak to how it would do in a heavy rain, we only had a slight mist). Have not installed yet. But the size looks like it will be great for my tight packing area of the SUV. Update…..a week later I set up the unit. There were no directions provided….nothing, not even contact info. After struggling in the wind, I figured it out. I think the next setup will be easier, but certainly it is not really that quick. I think it will work out fine. I think it will provide be somewhat weatherproof (whatever that is) and hopefully sturdy enough in the wind. Looks like it is decently made….at least for the money spent. But the concerning thing is that Redcamp does not show it being available anymore on their website.
