Overall this is a decent product. I took a star off because of how long it took to assemble and the fact that one of the metal rods had two incorrectly shaped holes - oval instead of circular - forcing us to have to use a special metal drilling saw to correct the holes in order to make the bolts fit through. Otherwise, Its relatively sturdy. If you shift the weight too much forward on the hammock, it can start wobbling a little though.. Irene. Atlanta, GA. Tue Apr 28 2026

I have been coveting this hammock stand for months, while simultaneously looking for a more cost effective DIY option. The reality is, this stand is impeccable quality, made locally (to me) and ordering via Wayfair allowed me to make the cost palatable and use payment options to make my dream a reality. The stand does not rock, though you can feel the movement of others shifting in their own hammocks. This mentioned portability but the product itself is 100lbs which makes it incredibly great quality for the price though less mobile than I had thought. 10/10 would buy again!. Natalie. Raleigh, NC. Heavy Duty Freestanding Hanging Chair & Swing Support Stand with Round Base, Powder Coated Steel Suspension Frame for Indoor and Outdoor Use

Overall a nice, easy to assemble stand for your hammock/hanging chair. I got the copper-finish one and it is a nice change from the standard steel or black ones. A few issues/room for improvement: the hardware (spring, bolts, screws, etc) are shiny metal that does not match the rest of the stand and there is no cap for the top of the swing, leaving a hole. Seems like a sizeable oversight.. Michael. Rome, GA. Thu Feb 19 2026
