This a great awning at this price point, even my electrician son was impressed as he he was expecting troubles. To be fair, it is not easy to install. It took three adult men on ladders to put it up and a great deal of finagling before that. Also, the motor came preassembled so we had no choice about which side it was on which meant extension cords.. Karla. Stafford Springs, CT. Sat Jun 27 2026

This outdoor door awning measures 40 by 80 by 9.84 inches, constructed from high-toughness polycarbonate sheet in black and brown finish with thickened support brackets and firm connectors. The sloped profile blocks intense sunlight and sun rays while resisting heavy rain, snow, and hail, promoting rapid water runoff without pooling to protect doors, windows, and outdoor fixtures year-round. The reinforced framework delivers strong load-bearing capacity and wind resistance, with exterior materials that resist rust and aging without cracking after prolonged exposure. Pre-reserved mounting holes and a complete hardware set with illustrated instructions enable straightforward DIY installation without professional assistance. The minimalist exterior styling coordinates with most residential facades, and the smooth stain-resistant surface wipes clean with soft cloth and water for minimal routine care. Appropriate for front entries, rear doors, windows, patio porches, balcony passages, and outdoor rest areas.
