The two issues I have with this are that the boxes lack drainage holes, and that there is no way to adjust the angle of the boxes. The former was easily solved by drilling holes myself, but the latter remains a problem for me. Still a decent planter though. Ashley. Miamisburg, OH. Mon Oct 26 2026

Add a touch of greenery and modern elegance to your space with our Wood Planter Box featuring a built-in trellis. More than just a stylish home for your plants, this versatile planter brings vibrant nature indoors or outdoors while offering a sleek, mobile gardening solution. The trellis provides ideal support for climbing vines and creepers. Constructed from solid fir wood, this planter box is built to last and becomes a timeless, functional accent for your home, patio, or garden.

I chose this to use as a partial privacy screen along our fence line and block secondhand smoke drifting in from a neighboring yard. They deliver on that front. The trellis panels and arbor tops create real height and coverage right at the fence line, and the planter boxes give me a home for bamboo that will fill in the gaps over time. Assembly took some patience but wasn't difficult. The lattice is joined with twine wraps rather than hardware, which gives it a nice rustic look, though I'd have preferred a cleaner finish on the tied ends and tying them together destroys your fingers trying to get it tight enough. Build quality feels sturdy for the price. The planter boxes have drainage holes already drilled and the wood has a nice cedar-toned finish that should hold up outdoors. The arbor top adds a finished, architectural look rather than a flat screen, which I liked. Only real critique: the twine joints, while charming, aren't going to be as durable long-term as a screwed or bracketed lattice. I'll be watching those over the next year or two to see how they hold up to weather. Overall, great for anyone wanting height, planting capacity, and privacy in one piece. Would buy again.. B.c.. UT. This set of 2 metal planter boxes with matching trellises is perfect for livening up narrow outdoor spots on patios, balconies and gardens. The paired trellises deliver subtle privacy screening, support climbing vines, and allow hanging baskets to expand your planting area. Constructed from powder-coated metal, these units are far more durable than fragile wood or plastic planters for long-term outdoor use. Each deep planting bed comes with drainage holes to keep flowers, herbs, vegetables, fruits and succulents healthy and prevent root rot. Wind-resistant and sturdy, you can arrange the two pieces freely to build your own secluded green retreat. Boasting a sleek modern look, this set complements most outdoor decor styles.

I love these and this comes as a set of two! We really needed privacy on our master bedroom balcony and these look beauitful and work perfect. We have a lot of wind up there and these are heavy enough to stay put and not blow over and because theres two we didnt have any trouble moving them from the house (where we assembled them) out on to a smallish balcony. Theres a large drainhole in the bottom of each planter, so you dont need to worry about your plants being too wet. I love that theres three styles of backs to choose from, I chose the horizontal slats for best privacy but also knowing that I planned to attach a faux hedge for total privacy. These have levelers on the bottom of all four feet, they are heavy duty but light enough to move around. I am just so happy with these and highly reccommend! Note: Does not include the faux hedge..
