This sits on top of the mail boss post to raise height by 6”. It is designed to fit perfectly over the 4 holes in the original post, it comes with 4 8 bolts that screw into the threaded holes in the existing post. I have the slide on bracket for the mail boss mail box, it screwed on perfectly to this height extension, it has threaded holes in it for a variety of mail box applications. Perfect!
