Sturdy steel wood-like structure: Sturdy and durable, the whole frame is made of powder-coated steel. The pergola has a uniquely-treated powder-coated construction that is maintenance-free; Designed for year-round use with a durable powder-coated finish that won't peel, chip, or fade.

This item is great for the price. We love having shade on our deck. The build takes awhile but is not overly complicated in any step, just many steps to complete. The most disappointing part of the product is the wingnuts which are meant to hold the shade in place on the track bar do not have enough hold to keep the shade in place during even a light breeze. We have had to tie our own string on each corner from the wingnut to the base of the track pole to keep the shade in place. This has made the shade unadjustable.. Lisa. Breckenridge, CO.
