I have been coveting this hammock stand for months, while simultaneously looking for a more cost effective DIY option. The reality is, this stand is impeccable quality, made locally (to me) and ordering via Wayfair allowed me to make the cost palatable and use payment options to make my dream a reality. Paired with gym mats and a crash pad, this is a great solution for my 10 year old autistic daughter. One of the holes at the base wasn't drilled all the way, it seems okay without it but if I had more time I'd probably exchange it. Overall this is a decent product. I took a star off because of how long it took to assemble and the fact that one of the metal rods had two incorrectly shaped holes - oval instead of circular - forcing us to have to use a special metal drilling saw to correct the holes in order to make the bolts fit through. Otherwise, Its relatively sturdy. If you shift the weight too much forward on the hammock, it can start wobbling a little though.. Irene. Atlanta, GA. Tue Apr 28 2026
