We bought this awhile ago and just put it up. It took 3 adults about 5 hours so which was just about what we expected. It looks fabulous on our deck. The following afternoon we had a strong storm pass through and it never budged. It is solid. Doesn't leak and keeps the interior dry. We've used both the curtains and the screens. Both work very well. The only thing I would suggest....We added extra screws to attach the corner posts to the floor support and extra screws through the floor supports to the deck. This little pop up gazebo is really cute. I always marvel at what they can create now a days, with such simple mechanisms. Instead of a tent or covered top, this is actually a zip up gazebo with mesh panels on all sides for easy airflow. It would be perfect at a campsite for easy bug free meals inside, or simply just for lounging protected from mosquitos. I can also see this at a beach site for children to be protected from the sun. I think it listed it as UPF-30 sun protection, which is super nice. There is all kinds of room inside. It is good for lounge chairs, a blanket, table, or mix of each. We have this set up in our yard, and the temperature is still fairly comfortable outside, so I am not sure how hot it would be inside during the summer. We like to be free from bugs, and have lunch outside from time to time. So far, it has held up in the wind, but I have not used it during a full rain. Sprinkles hit it, and it was fine, but a full out rain, I think it would be better to just pack it up. For set up I would use two people. It is really easy, but just awkward. Three of the support rods are held at the opening of the gazebo. My picture below shows how it secures into the fabric. All the sides just pop out and you secure the bottom with the metal hooks. Love the way it turned out. It’s definitely a two person job. It was fairly simple assembly until you get to the roofing part. Putting on the metal roof was a challenge, but workable with two people- one on a ladder. The holes lined up exactly with all pieces, but a few times we had to maneuver them and adjust to line things up. We did line up all of the roofing pieces on the ground before beginning as shown in the instructions. Highly suggest that. After assembly, it didn’t not feel as sturdy as we wanted, so we mounted ours to 4 x 4’s and staked those into the ground with rebar. Feels sturdy now. We are very pleased with it.. Kellye. I was hesitant when I unboxed this at first thinking it would not last a good size storm. I did anchor to post with the cement screws provided, but cemented the other two inside of outdoor gardening pots. The roof panels seemed like they were simply cardboard covered in plexi glass coating, therefore my hopes were not high for the durability. Arrived incredibly fast! It was really easy to put together. It took me about 2 hours to assemble the base by myself, and then my daughter and nephew helped with the top. That part took a little longer (thanks to a few snack and break interruptions ), but the total active assembly time was about 6 to 6½ hours. It’s already held up through some heavy rain and high winds here in the Chicago area—and that was before we even anchored it to the concrete. So far, I’m absolutely loving it.
