These replaced another ceramic decoration that found its demise from a porch pirate. First two weeks are positive. They are starting to show a bit of patina as expected. I feel they help bring the heat up from the firepit, but I can't say for sure. A couple of unexpected items, they seemed wet when delivered, not sure what was up, but I just let the dry a bit then put them in the fire. The fire pit glass is very pretty. I replaced the brown ones that came with the fire pit with these pretty blue/green ones. However the longer I have used them I find that they are breaking or completely shattering. I don't know how long they are expected to last.
