They were the perfect height I was looking for as why I bought these over metal ones.. They look really nice. I live in a state where we have red clay soil and so it is best to place after a rain or watering. I am not sure how far down they are supposed to go in the ground. All bamboo border edging panels come with two feet that are 2.5" long. Standard length for all border edging panels are 48" long and 14" high.
