Captiva Designs Charcoal Grills

Bring authentic Santa Maria-style grilling to your backyard with this 28" charcoal and wood grill. The adjustable crank grate lets you raise or lower the cooking surface to control the distance from the fire, making it easier to sear steaks over high heat or cook foods more slowly over the flames. With 666 sq. in. of total cooking space, including a removable warming rack, there is room for steaks, vegetables, and other favorites for family meals and backyard gatherings. Stainless steel construction and porcelain-enameled charcoal trays are designed for outdoor use, while the fold-down prep table, tool storage, and rotisserie bracket add practical convenience.

Took us about 1 12 hours to put together…including unboxing unpacking…instructions were great! I bought it as a present for my partner and we’ll be using it this weekend…can’t wait. I couldn’t figure out which cover to purchase so will have to search and find one to fit. So until then will use a tarp to cover it.. Karen. NC. Tue Aug 04 2026

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband and he loves it! The pit is very sturdy and solid. It did not take him long to put together. He loved all of the features and the sturdiness. Everything is well made including the metal wheels. The size of the pit was perfect. He is getting ready to cook a brisket so he is excited on the outcome. Very happy with the purchase!. Cindy Lou. The grill arrived quickly and was well packaged. It did take some time to put together and the directions were not extremely clear. The height is ok. Other than that it is a great grill. We have traditionally used gas so this is taking a little getting used too but overall I am very pleased. Seems to be sturdy and well made.. Nicole. Lillington, NC. Sat Jul 25 2026

Really nice grill. I can’t wait to use it. Assembly was not too difficult but would recommend a second person when installing the internal charcoal tray. If you don’t have another person I recommend you attach the pins in the step after installation as it will help hold the unit up.. Lix1st . Brandywine, Maryland. Sun Jun 21 2026
