It's best to set it on one of the boxes while assembling so you aren't on the floor breaking your back and neck. The cushions for your back are a little thin and don't provide a ton of support, so I purchased a few lumbar outdoor pillows to throw on the couch and now the comfort is perfect. Amazing sofas. Everything is perfect about them. Initially I was worried about the height and if it would hit too low on the back to make it uncomfortable but it doesn’t.
