Both my husband and I looked for quite a while to find "camping chairs" that fit our need. When we started looking, we did not know to use that term to find chairs like this one, that were sturdy, easy to get in and out of, and looked nice. We wanted them for our front, glassed in porch and needed them to be foldable, comfortable, look nice, and easy to get in and back out of; we did NOT want a "beach chair" that is flimsy and low to the ground. We finally landed on this chair. I admit we have not had a chance to use them much and test them on different surfaces, but they are comfortable for us and we are both in our 70's.. Barbara L.. Easily removed from its drawstring carry bag, the first time the chair was unfolded it took a little bit of effort. Folding it back up to put in the bag also took some effort.
