We got two sets in white on clearance sale for an unbelievable price for the set. I have assembled a lot of HDPE outdoor furniture and this is by far the easiest I’ve assembled and I’m 150lb, 5’2, 62 year old female. The table and chairs are heavy and will work perfectly for our dock on the bay that gets a lot of wind. I ordered the bar height table and 2 chair set for my small balcony. This is at a second home so I didn’t want to spend much on it. It’s a perfect size, comfortable and the price was affordable. I had a few problems putting it together. Lining up the holes for the screws and getting it started. I was dealing with a broken hand and just didn’t have the power. Called a friend and the two of us put it together pretty quickly. I like the mesh of the chairs, even though the balcony is covered, here in Texas the wind blows the hard rain on them. The assembly that was agreed on with the hired hand was originally supposed to cost us $200, but ended up costing $500.00, due to significant manufacturing defects. Many of the pre‑drilled holes did not line up with the components they were intended for, and the assembler had to drill new holes in multiple areas just to complete the job. The table alone took over three hours because of these issues, and the chairs required additional corrective work as well. The lazy Susan for the center of the table is discolored in spots, I have attached 3 pictures to this email of the lazy Susan. The set is now assembled and looks great, but the amount of extra labor required was far beyond what should be expected for a brand‑new product at this price point. These defects clearly originated from the manufacturing process, not from assembly error. I wanted to bring this to your attention because the product did not meet reasonable quality standards, and the additional cost and difficulty were unexpected and unnecessary. I would appreciate your review of this matter and any consideration you can offer regarding the inconvenience and extra expense we endured caused by the manufacturing defects.
