The instructions were ok except 1 bag of hardware was not labeled. The sofa took about 2 1/2 hours to put together. As long as you pay attention to the directions you shouldn't have a problem although a second set of hands would have helped. When cushions are on the sofa the seating is 18 inches , now I see why that is not listed. Low seats. The cushions are good quality and the frame seems well put together. make sure you leave all screws loose in order to tighten everything at the end. these pics are after putting together which is why so wrinkled.. Great outdoor daybed for tight spaces! I wanted to have an outdoor sleeping piece and bought this on sale. Very happy with my purchase. I made note of the reviews that the seating cushion is slim, so I picked up a separate long cushion at a local discount store (rhymes with Smollies) and stacked them. I positioned the couch with one arm down adjacent yo my outdoor loveseat to create a small u shaped couch. I can stretch out, nap outside, and am far more comfortable when using my outdoor space.
