Directions were easy and clear, all parts labeled nearly, says it takes two people to assemble, but I did it myself in an hour. 'Lots of screws all put in with the provided Alan wrench which got a bit tiring, but not terrible. I might suggest a rubber mallet as helpful, but not critical. They look beautiful and are comfortable I made my husband model to show height. He is 5'9". Now to repaint the deck to look as nice as the chairs! First purchase with Wayfair and very happy.. Laurel. Arrived extremely well packed and wrapped. I'll admit that the instructions threw me for a bit of a loop and I managed to orient one piece incorrectly which resulted in my belief I'd received 2 chairs of differing height. After establishing - on my own - that the mistake had been entirely on me, I corrected the orientation and now have 2 chairs which are the same height. I will add that the supplied wrenches are not up to the task of properly tightening all of the larger bolt/nut combinations. Instead, I recommend using 2 adjustable crescent wrenches.
