The instructions are fine to understand if you just read pictures, however the space to screw in the screws sometimes gets covered up by the rattan cords and makes it difficult to screw in.. Love this set! I, a 58-year-old woman, put it together by myself. Some parts were a little tricky, but I did it! I suggest using a s lf-ratcheting Allen wrench. It will cut your assembly time in half, if not more. The little wrench that comes with the set works fine, but it’s very tedious tightening the screws either the wicker in the way. At first I was skeptical when it arrived because the box was much bigger than expected (and insanely heavy) and there was some outer box damage with forklift marks. I live on the second floor of a duplex so I had to unbox it in my yard and bring it up piece by piece since the box was so bulky and heavy. But… it’s real wood so it was worth the extra effort. There were a couple weird markingswood glue that I’ve pictured and may reach out to the vendor for but some are in spots underneath that aren’t visible once assembled. Overall, this set is absolutely beautiful! It’s solid and the cushions are thick - they don’t arrive warped compared to other sets I’ve seen. The extra pillows it comes with are nice too. I got this for a smaller space on my balcony and this airy design makes it feel so open without overcrowding the space. I’m so excited to host and sit out in the sun all summer! It’s a nice chair. Surprisingly comfortable. It was hard to assemble alone.
